About this Event
The Columbus Chapters: An Author’s Reflection
Columbus is part of my story. It is where I went to college, built friendships, enjoyed my freedom, and lived through moments I understand differently today.
Join me at the King Arts Complex Gallery on Saturday, November 21, for The Columbus Chapters: An Author’s Reflection, an evening of memories, honest conversation, and connection.
Through three selected audio excerpts from my book, we will revisit the late-night food runs and friendships of my college years, a doctor’s warning I was not ready to hear, and the loss of my sister Jocelyn. Currecia will guide a conversation about what was happening beyond those pages, what I could not see then, and what those experiences mean to me now.
There will be laughs, reflection, and space for the parts of the story that are hard to tell. We will close by talking about what Plus More Life means today and what comes next.
What To Expect
- Three audiobook excerpts paired with live conversation
- Personal stories about my Columbus years and the people who helped shape them
