Color is one of the most powerful tools an artist has—and one of the least understood. The Adult Color Lab is a short, intensive learning experience designed to help artists finally understand color instead of guessing at it. Over four weeks, students learn how to see color accurately, mix with intention, and make confident color decisions that translate across any medium.
This is not a paint-along or an open studio class. The Color Lab is structured, cumulative, and skill-focused. Each session builds on the last, guiding students through hands-on exercises that break down how color temperature, value, and relationships actually work.
Whether you paint in acrylic, oil, gouache, watercolor, or mixed media, the skills taught in this lab will strengthen everything you make going forward.
