Our headliner this month is the incredible Adam Bloom who is as seen on:
Mock The Week (BBC2)
Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC2)
The Comedy Store (Comedy Central)
Adam has appeared on and written for various stand-up and panel shows on TV, and is a Time Out Award winner for best stand-up. Yes he’s that funny!
Ricky Gervais says: Adam Bloom has been one of his favourite comedians for ten years: ‘…Bloom not only has meticulous, brilliant lines, but also an intense and fragile honesty.’
The Independent describes him as being ‘…in the premier league of comedy,’ and The List says: ‘Bloom is perhaps the perfect comedian’.
Opening the show is Josh Baulf who is one of the most sought-after acts on the comedy circuit today. Building up a reputation on the stage early on in his career with his affable personality and well-honed material, he was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award.
Josh’s hard work on and off stage paid off with a very successful appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, having the audience and judges in stitches.
As 2020 hit, Josh cemented his comedic reputation by having several of his sketches go viral on social media and building a large and loyal fanbase and we are so excited to welcome him to Lighthouse.
Plus Jay Handley who swapped sculpting beautiful oak furniture for sculpting laughs, becoming a comedian instead!
Jay performs at some of the UK’s best comedy venues and is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2011.
“There are moments here that can go toe to toe with some of the funniest stand up skits I’ve seen.” EdFringeReview.com
This is an absolutely fantastic lineup! Kindly sponsored by United Taxis and hosted by Adrienne Coles from award winning Coastal Comedy, see you there.
