The Chicago Metro Section is excited to bring back the Metra Crawl! This year, the Crawl will take place on Thursday, November 5th, stopping in Des Plaines and Mount Prospect on the UP-NW line.Building on our planning webinar with the Chaddick Institute this past June, the Crawl will be an opportunity to explore two downtowns and learn about effective TOD planning, streetscape design, and related downtown planning efforts.
It will be a fun time to explore suburban downtowns with your fellow planners! Open to all, members and non-members.
SOCIAL EVENT: in Mount Prospect after the tour (more information to come). Come join us for a fun afternoon of staff-led tours of two downtown and "crawl" away with ideas and inspiration for your own community.
Can't join us for the full event? Feel free to join us at either Metra stop or for the social afterwards, around 5:00pm!
Cost: $15 (non-members), $10 (members), $5 (students).
