This year, we're introducing a NEW signature event: The City BEEautiful Spelling Bee benefiting the Adult Literacy League! 🔤But this ain't your elementary school spelling bee. No indeed, this grown-up spelling bee features food, drinks, and teams of best buds and work colleagues spelling TOGETHER for the crown.
Think bar trivia night vibes mixed with a charity gala’s feel-good moments and family UNO night’s heated competition.
But just because it’s a charity bee, don’t think we’re above playing dirty...team members AND spectators in the audience are welcome to purchase Help from the Hive tokens to give their favorite teams the opportunity to Buzz a Bee (phone a friend in the audience), issue a Bee Sting (look at another team’s answer) or Bribe the Judge (get the judge to give them the correct answer)! 😈
So, if you're a Wordle whizz or crossword crackerjack, assemble your hive and register your team TODAY for The City BEEautiful Spelling Bee before spots run out! 👇
