About Mary Beth:
Mary Beth is a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate (PCLC) and dance instructor passionate about the intersection of emotional wellness, somatic awareness, and community connection. After completing her graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling in May 2026, Mary Beth bridges therapeutic insight with intentional embodiment.
A lifelong lover of movement with a background in bellydance, she joined the SMASH community in 2023 and became an instructor in 2024, helping dancers drop inhibition and find power in their bodies. Since 2022, she has also served as a mindfulness facilitator with the Red Willow Learning Center, guiding individuals in recovery toward grounded presence, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion. Her approach centers on creating authentic, nonjudgmental spaces where people feel fully seen, supported, and connected.
