About this Event
Join us for an intimate, flavor-driven class with Guest Chef Cashmira Sethna of Elephant Green Chili Chutney on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:30 PM EDT to explore the versatility of chutney as a modern pantry essential—layering heat, brightness, and depth into dishes that feel both effortless and considered.
The class will be in-person at the Coop and streamed online via Zoom. For in-person attendees, there is a $10 cash-only fee taken at the door to help cover the cost of ingredients. In-person attendees will get to interact with the chef and sample the dishes!
About the Class
Cashmira will take us through a trio of recipes that capture the rhythm of everyday cooking: quick, adaptable, deeply satisfying and above all, budget friendly. A warm green curry comes together in minutes, grilled chicken becomes smoky and chutney-laced, and a warm potato salad is reimagined with brightness, spice, and contrast.
This is less about following recipes and more about learning how to cook with instinct—using one exceptional ingredient as the anchor.
About the Chef
Cashmira is the chef and founder behind Elephant Green Chili Chutney, which is sold at the Coop! She is a former recipe columnist known for her intuitive, flavor-first approach to cooking—drawing from Indian roots and a global palate. She regularly conducts in-store demos and pop-ups at Williams-Sonoma. Her work is grounded in the belief that a single, well-crafted condiment can transform the way we cook.
