Julian Sklar, a titan of the 1960s London art scene, now lives an eccentric, deeply secluded life. Scheming to seize an unfinished and potentially priceless series of paintings, his estranged children hire Lori Butler, a talented young artist with a knack for forgery, to infiltrate his world as an assistant. But as Lori spends time with the aging master, her allegiances shift – more than once. What follows is a compelling look at the birth of art and the unfolding friendship between two sensitive souls striving for authenticity.
