Thumbs Up Theatre proudly presents The Christmas Star, an original Christmas musical written and directed by Tina Pearse.
It’s Christmastime on Broadway, where the lights are bright, the marquees are glowing, and successful Broadway star Vivi seems to have everything. But somewhere along the way, the joy and wonder of Christmas have been lost beneath the spotlight.
Through an unexpected journey filled with music, laughter, angels, and a simple retelling of the Nativity, Vivi begins to discover that Christmas was never about the applause, the presents, or even the star in the sky. It was about the Savior the star was pointing to.
Featuring a talented cast of young performers, The Christmas Star is a heartwarming, family-friendly story of hope, kindness, faith, redemption, and the true meaning of Christmas.
