BBFF’s 20th edition begins here - on the red carpet, among filmmakers, film lovers and special guests on this very special night.Dress to impress - or express - as you make your entrance on the red carpet as we raise a glass to the filmmakers and stories at the heart of BBFF2026.
The evening begins with a Red Carpet Reception, bringing together audiences, filmmakers, special guests and on-screen talent from across this year’s program. Enjoy live music, wines from Bimbadgen Estate, BBFF’s Official Wine Partner, refreshing brews, Papa Salt Coastal Gin with Fever-Tree mixers, and quality non-alcoholic options for your designated driver.
Drinks will be accompanied by Tokyo Doll’s signature Japanese-fusion dishes before guests take their seats for the 8:00pm screening of our Opening Night film, The Fox [https://www.bbff.com.au/the-fox].
After the credits roll, those with after-party tickets can head downstairs to Tokyo Doll, where the celebration continues with a DJ, karaoke and plenty to talk about after The Fox.
