Join us for a knee slappin fun time, Saturday, October the 3rd with the Briarhoppers! Led by Lincolnton Native and WLHS Grad, Tom Warlick, the Briahoppers, a bluegrass string band, will have you tapping your toes to their tunes and literally laughing out loud as you go back in time to the sound of an old fashioned radio show. The Briarhoppers have been in existence since 1935, with members rolling off and new ones coming on board, but remaining true to the original sound.
The Briarhoppers were inducted into the NC Music Hall of Fame as members of the 2020 Class of Inductees.
Bring the family, bring your neighbors and remember, when Tom shouts "What time is it?!" the answer is "Hit's Briarhopper time!!"
