The Case of the Christmas Card is a delightful festive murder mystery novella in which Ali Dawson receives an unexpected visitor just days before Christmas when none other than Charles Dickens appears on her doorstep.
In The Killing Time, longlisted for the Theakstons Old Peculiar Crime Novel of the Year Award 2026, detective Ali Dawson’s cold case unit remains grounded after a disastrous time-travel mission leaves a colleague stranded in Victorian London.
