A high caliber comedy show of some of the best comics in Des Moines or anywhere else!About this Event
A high caliber comedy show of some of the best comics in Des Moines or anywhere else: the Bombshelter at the Beechwood is a Des Moines legacy comedy show!
This month we have headlining comics Dana Ehrmann and Ian Pope!
Dana Ehrmann is a stand-up comic and simple Midwestern gal who calls Milwaukee, WI home. Her self-deprecating, dry humor has charmed audiences all over the country, as a regular at The Laughing Tap, Milwaukee Improv, and Comedy On State and as a selected performer of the Flyover, Tree Town and Altercation Comedy Festivals. She's also opened for Joe Pera, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kyle Kinane, Charlie Berens and more. Come find out why Milwaukee Magazine named her one of the “5 Comics You Need to Know About” and why her exes called her, “Great.
No, seriously. I’m just not looking for anything serious right now.”
Ian is a comedian and stay at home dad as well as a regular at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, Don't Tell Comedy, and the Midwest's premiere comedy showcase NO SLEEP, as well as being recently invited to appear on Nate Bargatze's clean comedy showcase in Nashville.
Most importantly, Ian is a good time. Ian is smart. People laugh and enjoy themselves while Ian performs.
With them are comics Kassandra Johnson, Sarah Ramsey, Damon Tucker and a lottery spot for comics as well as host Mel Mackey and Dan Umthun!
Come join us for this incredibly fun, high energy monthly event. While the show is free to the public, donations of $5 are encouraged and accepted!
Showtime is 8PM, doors at 7:30PM!
