Ecstatic Dance, Breathwork & Cacao Ceremony
🌀 The Spiral of Belonging • Ceremony 2 of 4
A seasonal journey of contemporary rituals inspired by Joanna Macy's Work That Reconnects.
Together we remember what sustains us, honour what breaks our hearts, rediscover our place in the wider web of life, and find the courage to co-create the future we long for.
Each ceremony stands on its own. Whether you're joining for the first time or continuing the journey, you are warmly welcome.
As autumn settles around us and the days begin to grow shorter, we turn toward the emotions we often carry in silence.
Some emotions ask more of us than understanding—they ask to be felt, witnessed, and moved.
This ceremony is an invitation to gently meet some of the emotions we all carry—grief, sadness, fear, anger, love, tenderness, and everything in between.
We begin by gathering around cacao and guided breathwork, creating a space of safety and connection before moving into free, wordless ecstatic dance, where the body leads the way and movement becomes its own language.
Together we create a space to honour not only our personal grief, but also the pain we carry for our families, our communities, and the living world. As Joanna Macy reminds us, our pain for the world is often a reflection of our love for it.
By sharing the weight together, we allow pain to soften into compassion and continue along the path of healing—not alone, but side by side.
