The first experience of its kind in Long Beach, step into Blacksmith's alter-ego "The Blackbird" for a truly unique Writers Round. The Blackbird invites you to a cozy and magical evening featuring a celebration of the arts surrounded by candlelight.

Display your ticket before or after the show at Lil' Al's burger window next door for either a burger & fries or mac n cheese & fries combo! Lil' Al's burger window is next to Mary's Irish Shop, two doors down from Blacksmith's.
What's a Writers Round?
A writer's round, often called a Nashville-style writers' round, is a live showcase where a few songwriters share a stage, taking turns round-robin style to perform original songs acoustically and tell the stories behind them in a casual, intimate, "in-the-round" format. It's a collaborative environment focused on the song itself, allowing writers to test material and connect with audiences and other musicians in a supportive, listening-room setting.

-Ages 16+
-No refunds. Tickets may be transfered. Please contact the event host if there is an issue.
-Doors open at 5:30 PM, show from 6:00-7:00 PM.
-Lil' Al's burger window is next to Mary's Irish Shop, two doors down from Blacksmith's. Display your ticket at the window for either choice of a burger & fries combo or mac n cheese & fries combo!
