☘️ A 10 out of 10 afternoon of Irish folk music. The Black Velvet Band is bringing their lively blend of traditional Irish folk, close three-part harmonies, and plenty of banter to Greenwood on Saturday, October 10.
Formed in Kansas City in 2023 through long-held friendship and a shared love of Irish music, BVB started out with the modest goal of playing together once a year on St. Patrick’s Day. They quickly decided once a year wasn’t nearly enough.
Expect familiar songs, new tunes inspired by stories of place, location, and home, and a few chances to lift a glass to the Emerald Isle.
