Welcome to The Black Abundance Table: After Hours. This is our very first one.
We've done the work. The degree, the career, the business, the income. But nobody handed us the playbook for turning that income into real wealth, and too many of us are figuring it out alone.
The Black Abundance Table is a dinner gathering from The Black Abundance Circle™, built to change that one meal at a time. We gather a small group of Black professionals at a Black-owned or community favorite restaurant for good food, honest conversation about money, and the kind of connections that open the next door.
This is our first dinner, and we're starting in Inglewood at Country Style Jamaican.
⚠️ Please read before you book: there is no restroom at this restaurant
We love this spot, and we want you to love the evening too, so here's the honest heads-up: Country Style Jamaican does not have a restroom available for guests. Please plan ahead and stop before you arrive. The dinner runs two hours, from 6 to 8 PM. If this makes it hard for you to attend, no problem at all. Reach out and we'll save you a seat at a future Black Abundance Table at a different location.
The details
- Seats: 12 total. This is intentionally small so everyone actually talks to everyone.
- Cost: Free to register. Everyone orders and pays for their own meal at the restaurant.
- A welcome treat: The first 8 guests to arrive get a free Jamaican patty, on me.
- Parking: The restaurant is located in a shopping center with its own parking lot.
- Menu tip: Fish and shrimp are usually only available before 7 PM, so arrive and order those early.
What the evening looks like
- 6:00 PM: Arrive, order your meal, and meet the table
- 6:15 PM: Dinner and guided conversation. Each guest shares one money goal for 2027 and one question they wish someone had answered years ago.
- 7:15 PM: Open dinner and mingle. Swap numbers, trade resources, make the introductions.
- 8:00 PM: Wrap up with one next step to take before the new year
Who this is for
Black doctors, lawyers, engineers, educators, executives, entrepreneurs and other professionals who earn well and want to build wealth with intention. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to want a table full of people moving in the same direction. This table is intentionally centered on Black professionals and the experiences we share, and anyone who supports that is welcome to join us.
Why it matters
Black professionals are in the rooms, earning the degrees and making the money. Yet the typical Black household is still about six times behind in net worth. It isn't work ethic. It's that the game was never explained to us. Without a plan, a higher income just becomes a nicer lifestyle. The Black Abundance Table is where we start closing that gap, together.

About your host
Ashlee is the founder of The Black Abundance Circle™. She's a former special education teacher, a full-time corporate attorney, and a real estate investor and private money lender. Working inside a law firm, she watched brilliant professionals with advanced degrees who had never been taught how to invest what they earned, and she'd been one of them. BAC is the roadmap she wished she'd had. She's also the creator of the Earned & Unbound Podcast on YouTube.
