The Birds Next Door: Making Cities Work for Wildlife.

Holly’s talk will cover some of the species we see in Sydney, the types of birds that do well, who is less common (weaving in the Glebe Society’s spring bird survey findings) and actions we can take in our own spaces for birds. She will discuss some recent case studies including how we do conservation through the Powerful Owl and Superb City Wrens Projects. Holly is also co-author of 'This Bird ', a children’s book that encourages readers to slow down and notice the birds around them.
