Join Orange County Grantmakers and Professors David R. Agrawal and Victor Fleischer from UCI for a nonpartisan panel discussion on the upcoming "Billionaire Tax" ballot measure on the November Ballot. Presenters will highlight what the tax is, who is supporting and opposing it, who it impacts most, and the implications of both it passing and not passing. Most importantly, this conversation will explore its potential impact through the lense of our current policy landscape, providing insight into how the outcomes of this November ballot measure could impact the social safety net.
At the end of the session, funders and business leaders should have a better understanding of the measure, as well as the potential ripple effects on charitable giving, community resources and philanthropic strategy.
