Join us this October for a residential training camp! Three days of workshops, lectures, and sparring and socialising. One of the chief pleasures of fencing events is the serendipitous conversations had after a tournament, workshop or sparring day and the Big Weekend is designed to facilitate as many of these moments as possible!Venue and Facilities
The Well Road Centre in Moffat has room for up to 70 guests in a variety of dorm rooms. We have the exclusive use of the centre for the full weekend. Attendees are advised to bring their own sleeping bag/bed linen and towels, or buy the linen addon pack with their ticket. The centre provides the following amenities:

We have booked the Sports Hall at Moffat Academy, a five minute walk from the Well Road Centre. Most workshops and sparring will take place here during daytime. The Games Hall at the WRC can also host fencing activities. In the evening, lectures and talks can be held in one of the lounges.

The hall and garden at the Well Road Centre will be available for fencing throughout the weekend.
