The Big Tent is back! Join Family Freedom Center on Saturday, October 10, from 12 to 4 p.m. as we help our community get ready for winter.Come for winter jackets and gear, fresh produce, pantry staples, free haircuts and braiding, and resources from local organizations. Gloria Dei Men’s Group will be serving lots and lots of BBQ. We’ll have s’mores, hot cocoa, and free rides from SK Taxi, too.
Spend the afternoon with us! Shop from local vendors, enjoy live music, enter the raffles, and bring the kids for fun activities.
This year, we’re putting the money we would have spent renting one large tent toward more resources for the community. You’ll find a whole collection of smaller tents, with room to visit with neighboring organizations and find what your family needs.
All free resources and services are available while supplies last. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so come early!
We’re still calling it The Big Tent, but this year we might have to call it The Small Tents Event. 😄
