Bring a picnic and spend the afternoon with us in Bixby Park. Explore community camps, interactive art, local performers, LGBTQ+ makers and creators, food and dessert vendors, and experiences created by members of our community.
You can create a camp, make art, perform, volunteer, join an activity, share a skill, offer a gift, or simply enjoy what others have created. You do not need to organize anything to attend. Come as you are and participate as much or as little as you like.
OUR FOUR PRINCIPLES
EXPRESS
Come dressed as a walking work of art. Go big, loud, glamorous, colorful, strange, playful, or completely unexpected. Decorate your picnic, take up space, and show us your version of fabulous.
DO
Don’t just watch the day happen. Join an activity, try something new, meet someone, dance, make something, learn something, or lend a hand.
GIFT
Offer something freely without expecting anything in return. Your gift could be a skill, story, joke, activity, handmade necklace or bracelet, small keepsake, or simple act of kindness.
CREATE
Turn an idea into something people can experience. Create a camp, activity, artwork, performance, or shared space—or help bring someone else’s idea to life.
Bring a picnic, blanket or chairs, water, sunscreen, and whatever helps you enjoy an afternoon in the park. Food, desserts, and nonalcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase from a limited group of vendors. No alcohol will be sold at the event.

The Gathering is also our first major step toward Be Proud! Fest 2027 and our goal of building the Pride celebration our community wants and deserves—created by our community, for our community.
The community isn’t the audience. The community is the event.
