We’re starting with THREE POUNDS of clay and turning it into one gloriously oversized, perfectly imperfect piece of stoneware.
Before class, we’ll hand-drape each bowl to create its organic, wavy shape. Then you take over. Layer, drip and overlap our stoneware glazes to create the kind of rich, unpredictable finish that makes every bowl completely different.
Your finished piece will be approximately 10" wide and 8" tall — big enough to make a statement and useful enough to earn its keep.
Fill it with salad. Pile it with bread. Use it as a centerpiece. Turn it into the world's most unnecessarily enormous candle. We don't make the rules.
$68 per person includes your handmade 3-lb stoneware bowl, specialty glazes, instruction, glazing and firing.
