About this Event
An in-person improv workshop for performers curious about The Bat!
Workshop
Dive into the fast-paced, collaborative world of The Bat!, a dynamic, lights-out improv format built around character, relationships, and surprising connections. This hands-on workshop covers the essentials of the format, with plenty of opportunities to play, experiment, and create soundscapes and scenes with fellow performers.
For those who choose to, there will be an opportunity to perform The Bat! later that night as part of the Strange Charlotte Fringe Festival. Come ready to play, take risks, and discover what happens when you step out of the spotlight and into The Bat!
Your Instructor
Cale Evans is a longtime friend of the Charlotte comedy community, an actor, improvisor, producer, coach, and director, as well as a professional trainer in his side hustle. He believes in creating a supportive, playful environment where performers can come out from behind themselves, trust their instincts, and discover things about themselves they never knew before.
