The Basement Show was founded in 2024 by the team up of Julia LeBrell & Jason Brent. They present inclusive lineups, lovely times, and love watching you enjoy the show.

Julia is your everyday very gay writer/comedian/chaos agent from Dearborn, MI. When not onstage, you can find them wandering around in the woods talking to trees about dirt & advocating very loudly for LGBTQIA2S+ equity & liberation. Jason has been performing & producing comedy for over a decade, including the much beloved show The Comfort Zone. They've emceed punk shows, was on Channel 4, opened for DeAnne Smith & Jena Friedman bc they are nothing if not a quintessential alternative comic. Ask them about their fancy new pants. They don't have a website, so the pants are a good fit
