There are 5 Sundays in the month of November, which means the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) gets to showcase another amazing Blues Band for a Blues Sunday Series! On Sunday November 29th, we are excited to welcome an incredible Blues act that has been making waves in the Toronto music scene, The Barking Sharks! For all of you blues music fans, trust us when we say that you don’t want to miss this one! The show starts at 7pm, there’s no cover!The Barking Sharks are an exciting Toronto based band with long roots in the Roots music community!! Specializing in old “skool” Blues, and R&B, they often drop in a few Rock ‘n Roll and Funk surprises to spice up their shows! You’ll be tapping your toes ,dancing and maybe singing along to their blend fav’s and a few rarities. Led by the soulful crooning of Dan Munro, honking sax of Paul Kidd, sizzling tasty guitar of Steve Katz, and all held down by band veterans David Cunningham on bass and Brent Deakin on drums.
