Baking is the gateway to cooking for many kids. Young bakers learn foundational techniques while they create a delicious array of both sweet and savory foods in this fun week at camp. Bakers: start your ovens!(Recipes in The Baking Shoppe I will be different from The Baking Shoppe II. Campers may take either or both sessions—they do not have to attend The Baking Shoppe I in order to attend The Baking Shoppe II.)
ABOUT JAX COOKING STUDIO SUMMER CAMPS
JAX Cooking Studio Summer Camps are sure to be a highlight of your child’s summer! Each day blends hands-on instruction with plenty of fun—giving kids the skills and confidence to recreate their favorite recipes at home. Each week, we feature a different camp theme and recipes. Kids will learn, cook, and then eat what they prepare. Yum!
Camps are intended for kids 7-17 years old. Campers must be capable of following directions and cooperating with others in the class.
Kids will work in teams of 2 or 3 to cook the day’s recipes.
We are happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Kids should bring a water bottle. For safety, kids should wear closed-toed shoes and keep long hair tied back or in a hat.
Each session runs Monday-Friday.
Morning Camps: 9am-noon
Afternoon Camps: 1:30-4:30pm
