A workshop for couples ready to deepen their connection and intimacy.
About this Event

Think back to the early days. The way you leaned in when they spoke. How much you wanted to know about them, and how little you assumed.

But after a while, most couples trade curiosity for certainty. We stop asking because we think we already know. Life fills up with logistics, and the person we chose becomes the person we coordinate with. None of that means something's wrong. It just means you've been busy building a life.

This is an evening to remember that the person beside you is still someone you can discover.

Over one evening, you'll explore the two things every lasting relationship needs and most couples struggle to hold at once: the closeness that makes you feel safe, and the aliveness that keeps you curious about each other. Home and adventure. Security and desire.

Think of it as a first date with someone you already love.

What to expect

Across the evening, you'll work with two psychotherapists bringing different lenses to connection:

Relational dynamics with Bevan (couples therapist)
Every couple has a 'dance'. One reaches, the other retreats. One turns up the volume, the other goes quiet. Neither of you designed it, but together you keep it going. Bevan will help you see your own steps clearly, where you first learned them, and what changes when you stop playing me versus you and start playing us versus the problem.

You'll leave with simple ways to say what you actually need, to hear each other without bracing, and to find your way back quickly when things go sideways. Every couple has rupture. The ones who thrive aren't the ones who never fight. They're the ones who know how to repair.

Intimacy and embodiment with Rachel (somatic therapist)
Desire doesn't live in your shared calendar or your to-do list. It needs a little space, a little mystery, and a chance to see your partner with fresh eyes. In this part of the evening, the talking stops and everything slows down.

Through breath, gentle touch and unhurried movement, Rachel guides you out of your heads and back into the simple pleasure of being near and with each other.

Everything is guided, invitational, and done at your own pace.

Who’s this for

Couples at any stage: dating, engaged, married, or many years in. You don't need to be struggling to come. Some of the best relationships are the ones that keep investing in themselves.

If you want more understanding, more ease in how you talk to each other, and more intimacy, physical and otherwise, you'll feel at home here. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to play.

And yes, it's run by therapists, but this isn't therapy. No one will ask you to unpack your childhood. It's practical, warm, and genuinely fun to do together.

Your Facilitators

Bevan and Rachel Pfeiffer aren't just professionals in this space. They bring years of experience to it together, as trauma-informed psychotherapists, long-time yoga practitioners, and a married couple who use these exact tools in their own relationship.

Bevan brings couples therapy training; Rachel specialises in embodiment and nervous system-informed care. Between them, this workshop is equal parts practical and felt.
