A Creative Sound ExperienceWhat does sound look like?
What happens when you stop trying to make something “good” and simply respond to what you hear?
The Shape of Sound is a 90-minute creative experience designed to help you step out of your thinking brain and into curiosity, presence and play.
We’ll listen to different sounds and vibrations - crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes and more - and translate what we hear onto paper through lines, shapes, colors, patterns and intuitive marks.
Your individual pieces will come together into a personal sound-inspired mandala, with an opportunity to see how our individual expressions connect as a group.
You do not need to know how to draw. In fact, that’s part of the point. There’s nothing to get right and nothing you’re supposed to create.
