About this Event
Presented during MOAD Nexus Black Art Week, this special excerpt explores Reverend Cecil Williams as a radical Black minister, visionary, and creative force who reimagined what a church—and a community—could be.
Through an audacious ministry rooted in love, inclusion, liberation, and social justice, Cecil transformed Glide and helped reshape the cultural and spiritual landscape of San Francisco.
The excerpt will be followed by an exciting panel discussion with thought leaders Dr. Gina Fromer— CEO of Glide today, Reggie Johnson — Board President, Kimberly Williams —daughter of Rev Williams and the film's Producer. The conversation will be moderated by Director Sophie Constantinou.
Space is limited. RSVP required.
