About this Event
Do you ever feel like rest is something you have to earn?
Mountain towns run on momentum. We measure ourselves in vertical feet, sunrise starts, and full seasons, and somewhere along the way slowing down started to feel like falling behind. That pressure takes a real toll on our mental health, and it's something we don't talk about nearly enough.
Join us for The Art of Pause, an honest community conversation and the final session of the Mental Health in the Wild series. Panelists Ryan Burke, Matt Shlim, Dagny Deutchman, and Jeff Roelke will share lived experiences, practical resources, and pathways of support for navigating rest, recovery, burnout, and the ways we cope when we don't slow down.
Please join us as we push back on the idea that rest must be earned, and give ourselves permission to pause.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, pizza and refreshments provided.
Thank you to our partners, St. John's Health and The Redside Foundation, for making this event possible!
