About this Event
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The holidays are a study in taste, warmth, and gathering.
Join The Black Swan Company for an intimate, hands-on workshop exploring the foundations of exceptional non-alcoholic beverages through three artisan Signature Syrups: Apple Cinnamon Spice, Roasted Pear Rosemary, and Persimmon Orange Clove.
Over two hours, you'll taste, build, and refine holiday-inspired drinks while learning the principles of balance, layering, and flavor pairing that transform familiar seasonal ingredients into something extraordinary. Whether you're elevating your own evening ritual or preparing to host with intention, you'll leave with new techniques, inspired recipes, and a deeper appreciation for the craft.
Includes guided tastings, hands-on beverage making, and light seasonal bites.
ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR: SHANNON GATEWOOD
I'm a bit of a culinary mad scientist - I love to experiment with food and beverages. The Signature Syrup that started it all, The Founder, came to be after a family member asked me to create a custom cocktail for a holiday gathering. The rest, as they say, is history.
My passion for bold flavors is rooted in my Caribbean-American heritage and travels; my desire to introduce The Black Swan Company to the world reflects my love of entertaining. While many competitors are branded and tailor their products specifically for cocktails, The Black Swan Company isn’t *just* a cocktail company. I want my customers to try something new, to be inspired to create a unique drink, dish, or dessert of their own.
