From Green Coffee to the Cup: Sourcing, Roasting & Milk | Paris Oat Week 2026
About this Event

How do you choose green coffee with intention, build a distinctive lineup and find the perfect match for milk-based drinks? Join Oatly at ALTURA Co-Roasting for an afternoon of coffee tasting, an expert roundtable and conversations exploring the choices shaping specialty coffee - from sourcing to the final cup.

An afternoon dedicated to specialty coffee, bringing together roasters, green coffee professionals and coffee enthusiasts to explore the decisions, ideas and collaborations shaping the industry.

How do you choose green coffee with intention? How do you build a lineup that stands out? And what makes a coffee truly shine in a milk-based drink?

Through a roundtable bringing together different perspectives from across the coffee value chain, we’ll explore what goes into choosing, developing and serving great coffee — from sourcing and importing to roasting and the final cup.

THE TALK — FROM GREEN COFFEE TO THE FINAL CUP

Moderated by Mihaela Iordache, the discussion will bring together coffee professionals including Ivan Carel(from Fève), Caroline Ginoux (from Belco), Lara Norton (Altura Co Roasting —> from Buddy Buddy) and Loïc Peneau (from Datura).

Together, we’ll explore four key questions:

1. How do you choose green coffee with intention?

2. How do you build a distinctive and coherent lineup?

3. What makes a coffee work with milk — including plant-based alternatives?

4. Which trends are worth paying attention to?
