About this Event
The Art of Building Community is a 3-hour immersive cultural experience where we explore how meaningful connections grow into lasting, supportive relationships, while discovering practical ways to build, nurture, and sustain the communities we want around us.
It's not a traditional workshop or lecture.
You'll move through a series of interactive activities, personal reflections, and meaningful exchanges, exploring how connections begin, how trust and belonging develop, and what helps relationships grow over time.
Along the way, we'll explore our needs, habits, strengths, and different approaches to building community, discovering what helps us connect with others and what can sometimes get in the way.

During the experience, you'll have the opportunity to:

You may find yourself recognizing familiar patterns, discovering new perspectives on connection, or leaving with a clearer sense of how to build and sustain meaningful relationships in your own life.

Anyone curious about people, community, relationships, or meaningful connection.
Come on your own, or bring a friend, colleague, partner, or someone you would enjoy sharing the experience with.
Whether you're new to Heidelberg or have lived here for years, this experience is for anyone who wants to explore what belonging means to them and how to create the connections and community that fit their lives.
You do not need any previous intercultural experience. Just bring your curiosity.
This is not a networking event, and you don't need to be an extrovert. There is space for different personalities, social styles, and ways of connecting.

Community Rate: €29 (Limited availability)
The Community Rate is intended for students, unemployed participants, and anyone who cannot comfortably afford the full rate.
If you're able to pay the full rate, we encourage you to do so, helping us keep the limited Community Rate tickets accessible to those who need them most.
Your ticket helps cover the refreshments, materials, preparation, and the design and facilitation of the full 3-hour experience.
