About this Event
HELLO! Magazine is hosting an exclusive event in the heart of Chelsea, New York City on the evening of Monday, November 9 - "The Art of British Holiday Hosting."
Our team from London (our hosts of A Right Royal Podcast) will be jetting into the Big Apple and teaming up with Princess Diana's former chef, Darren McGrady, who will give us a masterclass on how to throw a royal-approved Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration this year, without the stress.
As well as sharing his cooking and hosting tips, Darren will also be dishing out his memories of working for Princess Diana and her sons William and Harry at Kensington Palace. The former royal chef also cooked for the late Queen for 11 years at Buckingham Palace, and has some fascinating anecdotes as well as hilarious corgi stories!
During our intimate conversation, you, the audience, will have the chance to ask your own questions in our Q&A so you feel ready to host your own picture-perfect festive gathering this year.
Your evening includes:
- A festive welcome: a holiday drink, traditional British mince pies (sweet, spiced-fruit pastries that are a Christmas staple in Britain) and carols to set the mood
