BEING A SHO IS YOUR POSITION. BECOMING GREAT IS YOUR CHOICE!!Getting your SHO competency was an achievement.
But becoming a GREAT SHO requires more than technical knowledge, compliance and knowing the law.
In the real workplace, the challenge is different.
Can you get people to listen?
Can you influence those who don’t report to you?
Can you gain management support for your ideas?
Can you turn an OSH issue into a business conversation?
Can you move people from “I know” to “I will act”?
Because the most effective SHO is not necessarily the one who knows the most.
It is the one who can turn knowledge into action, influence people and create real change.
