About this Event
Reclaim your vital energy through the ancient science of breathwork.
Join instructor Audra Byers for an immersive, two-hour experiential workshop exploring the foundational practices of Pranayama (breath control). Rooted in the traditional Bihar School of Yoga lineage learned directly during her training in India, this session bridges classical meditative wisdom and modern nervous system regulation.
Whether you are looking to clear mental clutter, expand your lung capacity, reduce stress, or deepen your meditation practice, you will leave with practical tools you can immediately integrate into your daily life.
What We Will Practice & Explore
Together, we will dive step-by-step into four sacred breath techniques:
- Kapalabhati (Skull-Shining Breath): A dynamic, energetic technique designed to cleanse sluggishness, stimulate abdominal organs, and sharpen focus.
- Bhastrika (Bellows Breath): A rhythmic, high-energy practice that stokes your internal fire, expands respiratory capacity, and boosts vitality.
- Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing): A soothing, balancing practice that harmonizes energy channels, lowers stress, and quiets mental chatter.
- Bhramari (Humming Bee Breath): A gentle sound-resonance practice that soothes the vagus nerve and guides you into deep relaxation.
