Four exhibitions explore how we perceive and occupy space. Familiar objects are reconstructed in unsettling forms; silence becomes a landscape of memory and imagination; a deconstructed stadium merges ancient architecture with popular culture and the sound of an absent crowd; and paintings and sculptures examine the tension between the body, structure, and the boundaries of the canvas.
From architectural space to the presence of objects within an interior, familiar forms are reconstructed in altered materials—recognizable enough to remain legible, yet sufficiently transformed to provoke unease. These works question how we interpret what confronts us, and the extent to which perception is shaped by thought, imagination, and memory.
Architecture and sound are also explored through silence. Following seven days spent inside a spherical chamber entirely devoid of light, visual documentation, spoken language, and the chamber itself evoke an inward journey—a psychological terrain formed through memory and imagination.
Elsewhere, a deconstructed stadium built from earthen blocks collapses references to ancient structures and contemporary popular culture into a single installation. Its architecture is activated by a soundtrack invoking the presence of an absent crowd.
Finally, paintings and sculptures extend beyond the conventional boundaries of the square canvas while retaining a rigorous structural logic, investigating the tension between the human body and architectural form.
