Build a Company Capable of Growing Beyond the Founder
About this Event

A hands-on workshop for founders/CEOs and their leadership teams to move from founder-driven growth to a stronger, more scalable organization—uncovering what’s constraining growth, building the capabilities needed for the future, and leaving with a focused plan for the next stage of growth.

What helps a founder build a successful company can eventually become one of the things that limits its next stage of growth.

As the business grows, complexity grows with it.

More customers. More people. More decisions. More handoffs. More priorities competing for attention.

And too often, more things find their way back to the founder.

You become the person who solves the toughest problems, makes the important calls, connects the dots, and keeps things moving.

The company is successful—but growth still requires too much push from you.

Eventually, the question changes from:

How do we grow?

to:

Is the organization we have today capable of producing the future we say we want?

That is one of the key questions we address at The Architecture of Growth workshop.

There are key decisions around PEOPLE, STRATEGY, EXECUTION, and CASH that you must get right to scale. You and your key leaders will collaborate and align around key decisions, capabilities, and systems that need to change to reach the next level. You'll build the plan together and leave with improved role clarity, strategic focus, and a 90-day plan of action.

The agenda deliberately moves from leadership accountability and organizational value flow through the economics of growth, strategic activities, leadership constraints, and ultimately the Critical Domino.

By the end of the workshop, your leadership team will have created tangible pieces of work that can continue guiding the company as a blueprint after the day is over.

A Special Session for Founders & CEOs

After the leadership teams conclude their work together, founders and CEOs remain for a private, facilitated debrief.

This is an opportunity to step out of the mechanics of the business and reflect on what the day revealed about your own role.

We will explore three questions:

REDESIGN

What about the organization needs to work differently?

RELEASE

What am I still holding that the organization may now be capable of owning?

PROTECT

What genuinely must remain under my stewardship as the company grows?

We'll also confront an important question that every growing founder eventually has to answer:

From founder-dependent to a blueprint for growth
