About this Event

Williamson County Residents only

The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness by Jonathan Haidt is a New York Times bestseller and an essential read for anyone who cares about children. The book explores the alarming decline in youth mental health during the age of smartphones, social media, and big tech, while offering practical insights and a hopeful roadmap for creating healthier, more balanced childhoods. This study is facilitated by Indira Gibby, LPC.

I believe every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, educator, caregiver, or anyone who has a child in their life can benefit from the knowledge and perspective shared by the author. Join me as we examine how today's digital world has influenced the mental health of our youth and, in turn, reshaped the dynamics of the modern family. Together, we'll reflect on ways to foster stronger connections, healthier habits, and greater emotional well-being for the next generation.

The book will be provided to you at no cost at your first session.
