This Sunday we welcome Dr Robert Stevenson, Asst. Instructional Professor of African American Studies at the University of Florida to our podium. Isaiah 61: 1-9 and Luke 4:18 both emphasize liberation and restoration: bringing good news to the poor, binding up the brokenhearted, setting the oppressed free, and proclaiming freedom for captives. These passage closely align with our Unitarian Universalist commitment to social justice.
