The Alternative Cabaret returns to Wales Millennium Centre’s Cabaret this autumn!
Step out of the West End 🎭 and forget everything you think you know about a ‘night at the musicals’. This time we’re taking a deep dive into the darker corners of musical theatre.
Think of us as a British Postmodern Jukebox: we’re genre-bending your favourite hits and reimagining classic showtunes. Whether we’re turning a golden-age jazz hands kick-line into a solo cello masterpiece or giving a modern anthem a gritty ballad makeover, we’re rethinking the stage in ways that would make even Sondheim do a double-take.
With superb live musicians and powerhouse vocalists, we’re Defying Gravity 🧹 and expectations alike. This is a night where Anything Goes 🛳️ We’ve Got Confidence 🏔️ in our cast, so don't be Misérable 🇫🇷 — All We Ask of You 😷 is to Be Our Guest 🫖 and grab your tickets now!
