THE ALPHA HOME RUN DERBY: Multiple Batting Dates

Swing for a $30 top prize while supporting a great cause! Proceeds will be donated to the Brain Injury Association of Colorado on behalf of the Alpha 5K Challenge General Fund.

The Alpha Impact Initiative is the operational heartbeat of a movement designed to bridge physical performance, professional networking, and social responsibility. • Spotlighting Local Enterprise: We provide a premier stage for hometown businesses to showcase their distinct value, enabling them to forge strategic partnerships alongside industry peers.

• Fostering Financial Wellness: We elevate the conversation around investment strategies, positioning financial health as a fundamental pillar of a balanced, successful life.

• Investing in Health: We challenge both body and mind, encouraging every participant to unlock the long-term dividends that come from personal wellness, grit, and endurance.

Within your scheduled time slot, you will designate your 10 Official Derby Swings:

• 10 Official Swings: You choose when to lock in your 10 competition swings during your cage time (take a warm-up swing or two first!).
• Total Competition Distance: The simulator records the distance of every valid hit. Your top 3 longest hits from your 10 official swings will be added together to create your final Derby Score.
• In-Bounds Hits: Distance counts on valid fair hits recorded by the system. Foul balls, misses, or strikes count toward your 10 official swings but score 0 for distance.
• The Champion: The player with the highest combined Total Competition Distance at the end of January takes home the grand prize!

Keep the energy high and raise extra funds for BIAC during your session:

• Mulligans ($5 Donation): Swap out a miss or short hit during your 10 official derby swings for a fresh attempt!

If there’s a tie for top distance at the end of the month:

• Single Longest Hit: Highest single-hit distance breaks a tie.

• Your Time Slot: Every participant gets time in the virtual batting cage.
• Beyond the 10 Swings: Your time isn't limited to just 10 quick cuts! Before or after your official derby swings, enjoy open batting, test out different virtual stadiums, try mini-games like target practice or arcade modes, or just swing.
• All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you're swinging for the fences or just having fun with friends, the session is built for an entertaining, high-energy environment supporting the Brain Injury Association of Colorado (BIAC).

Your registration gives you access to a premier multi-sport experience at Dick’s House of Sport! Our Fundraiser's cage reservation includes both your official derby attempts and plenty of open play. Plus, you'll have access to the store's top-tier interactive attractions:

• Rock Climbing Wall: Take on the indoor rock wall during your visit! Great for all ages and skill levels.
• Virtual Golf Simulators: Test your drive or play mini-games in the state-of-the-art golf bays.

Alongside our event, we are collecting donations for Broomfield FISH to support local families in need. Bring your non-perishable pantry staples, canned goods, or box items with you to Dick's House of Sport!
