About this Event
Welcome to The Ajibosin Platform Annual Symposium 3.0!
Get ready for an exciting in-person gathering where ideas flow and connections grow.
Venue: Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State
Date & Time: Friday, October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM
Theme: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Solve Grassroots Problems and Accelerate National Development
The symposium brings together public leaders, technology practitioners, business voices and community stakeholders around the practical use of artificial intelligence for development.
“Technology creates possibilities. Leadership turns possibilities into public value.” - Aare Olanrewaju Kazeem Bakinson (PhD).
Why this symposium matters
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how governments, businesses and communities identify problems, deliver services and make decisions. The 2026 symposium creates a forum to translate that potential into practical, responsible, and locally relevant action.
Discussions will connect technology with everyday grassroots realities, public services, economic opportunity, civic participation, education, community development and institutional capacity.
This third edition convenes under the theme Community Development, Artificial Intelligence and National Leadership: three subjects that are usually discussed in separate rooms, deliberately brought together.
Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant technology story; it is already reshaping who gets a job, who gets a loan, and who gets heard. National leadership determines whether that reshaping is governed or merely absorbed. And community development is where the consequences of both land first. The symposium exists to hold those three in one conversation.
