About this Event
The AI Rescue Room
Forget passive presentations. This time, you're part of the response team.
Welcome to The AI Rescue Room, an interactive operations simulation for directors, department managers, operations leaders, and professionals interested in practical artificial intelligence.
A fictional company is facing a major operational disruption just 24 hours before an important product launch.
Its core operations team is suddenly unavailable. Incoming requests are piling up, inventory information is inconsistent, and important work is falling between departments.
Your challenge is to work with five other participants to design, test, and demonstrate AI-assisted workflows before the 45-minute simulation clock runs out.
No programming experience is required.
The Challenge
36 participants. Six squads. Six AI workflow coaches. One shared fictional crisis.
Each squad of six works with an assigned AI workflow coach and receives the same case materials, operational constraints, and evaluation criteria.
You'll practice turning a complicated business situation into manageable workflows using AI-supported writing, no-code tools, and human review checkpoints.
Your team will explore three connected operational challenges:
Mission One: Stabilize the Inbox
Review simulated messages, identify urgent requests, and create a structured workflow for classification, assignment, and draft responses.
Mission Two: Restore Operational Visibility
Organize fictional launch data, identify missing information, and prepare a concise operational status report.
Mission Three: Rebuild the Handoff Process
Create a clear summary of completed tasks, unresolved issues, responsible team members, and next steps.
Dedicated AI Workflow Support
The workshop is designed to provide one assigned AI workflow coach for every squad.
Coaches will support participants in preparing no-code workflows, troubleshooting demonstration tools, and reviewing workflow outputs.
Their role is to assist with the exercises, not to operate participants' actual business accounts or make company decisions on their behalf.
The 45-Minute Rescue Sprint
You'll work under a genuine 45-minute simulation time limit.
All teams start with identical instructions and have access to the same fictional data and core demonstration resources.
The goal is not simply to create more automation. It's to demonstrate responsible decision-making, clear communication, accurate outputs, and a workable response plan.
Squad Presentations
Each squad will present a brief walkthrough of its proposed response.
Participants will explain what their workflow does, how they tested it, and which steps still require human approval.
Solutions will be reviewed using published evaluation criteria.
AI Commander Recognition
One squad will receive the honorary title AI Commander Squad for its overall simulation performance.
There are no financial awards, merchandise awards, or random drawings.
Any public mention of participants will require their consent.
What You'll Work On
During the event, participants will have access to:
- AI Incident Workflow Canvas.
- Example Inbox Triage Framework.
- Automation Testing Checklist.
- Shift Handoff Template.
- Executive AI Workflow Playbook.
- Fictional operational case files.
These are educational resources for the simulation. Participants can adapt appropriate concepts to their own organizations after reviewing company policies and technical requirements.
What to Bring
Please bring a charged laptop and a modern web browser.
An existing AI account may be helpful but is not necessary for understanding the core simulation. Shared demonstration materials and instructor-led alternatives will be provided.
Networking & Refreshments
The evening concludes with professional networking, light refreshments, non-alcoholic beverages, and a brief recognition segment.
Attendance does not require sharing contact information or participating in any business arrangement.
Important Information
This is a fictional business simulation for educational and professional development purposes.
No real company disruption, emergency, customer dataset, or business recovery service is involved.
Participants should not upload confidential workplace materials, employee records, customer information, passwords, or proprietary business data to public AI tools.
AI-generated content must be checked by participants before being used to make decisions.
The workshop does not guarantee operational recovery, cost savings, productivity improvements, production-ready automation, or particular business results.
The event is independently organized and does not represent an official training or certification program from any AI software provider.
