AI is moving beyond experimentation. As organisations begin applying AI to mission-critical workloads, the foundations underneath those systems become just as important as the models themselves.

An AI system may depend on sensitive organisational data, external models, specialised compute, interconnected applications and continuously evolving workflows. If any part of that chain sits outside the organisation’s control, questions around ownership, continuity, security and long-term strategic dependence become increasingly important.
