Pittsburgh Sound + Image presents one of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful films of the silent era: Lotte Reiniger's The Adventures of Prince Achmed. Using her innovative multiplane camera and silhouette animation techniques, Reiniger brought stories from One Thousand and One Nights together as they've never been realized before or since. This delight for all ages will feature an original live score by Pittsburgh-based scoring innovators Anticipation Por*. All as part of the Pittsburgh Silent Film Festival.
