THE ROY ORBISON SONGBOOKFronted by award-winning vocalist Oliver Harris and accompanied by a fully live band, The Roy Orbison Songbook delivers a powerful live celebration of Roy Orbison’s music.
This is deliberately not a lookalike or impersonation show. The emphasis is on the music — the extraordinary voice, arrangements, musicianship and emotion that made Roy Orbison so distinctive.
The production features many of Roy's best-loved songs, including:
Oh, Pretty Woman • Crying • In Dreams • You Got It • Only the Lonely • I Drove All Night • Blue Bayou • Running Scared • Love So Beautiful • Claudette, as well as some of the hits from the Traveling Wilburys.
…and many more.
The show has already been presented at theatres and arts venues around the UK, with audiences responding particularly strongly to the quality of the live vocals and musicianship.
