The A2CB begins its 48th season in spectacular fashion! Artistic Director and Conductor David Leach welcomes The Ann Arbor Civic Chorus and director Karen TenBrink. The concert features selections celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America. Guest conductors Prof. Jason Fettig, Director of Bands, UM-SMTD, and Prof. Matthew Dockendorf, Asst. Director of Bands, BGSU step to the podium, plus Carl Grapentine and Todd Nichols add thought-provoking narration. Selections include “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” “American Salute,” “Liberty Fanfare,” “America the Beautiful,” “Lincoln Portrait,” “This Land Is Your Land,” “Stars and Stripes Forever,” “Wade in the Water,” and more!

Music holds the power to transcend divisions, affirm diversity, and inspire hope and harmony for our nation. We hope these works cause citizens to reflect on America’s history and to work toward a “more perfect union”. Please join us for an afternoon of inspiration, introspection and appreciation!
Concert sponsored by Metzger's German Restaurant.
