3pm: Oran Etkin: Timbalooloo - instruments from around the world come to life and talk through their music so that kids conceive of music as the magical act of making your instrument talk! Timbalooloo strives to empower a generation of children to express themselves through music as fluently as they speak their mother tongue, and to see the beauty and creativity in other cultures.
4pm: Tambor y Caña - Afro-Venezuelan Drums & Dance
5pm: Miriam Elhajli y La Nueva Canción - your local neighborhood band of South American bandits, here to rock your world with our deep love of cumbia, joropo, vallenato, bullerengue and salsa!
6pm: CTMD presents Jalikunda - an ensemble of Gambian griots, musicians, and dancers dedicated to preserving and presenting West African oral history, instrumental music, and dance
Theatre Stage:
7:30pm: Peter Stan & the Ridgewood Balkan Sound - Peter “Perica” Stan is a Serbian/Romanian Roma accordionist known for his playful innovation and soulful, intuitive improvisations
8:30pm: CTMD presents the New York Tibetan Ensemble - Based in Queens, the New York Tibetan Ensemble strives to preserve and present traditional music and dance forms from across Tibet.
9:30pm: Saha Gnawa - Contemporary Moroccan Gnawa band led by Ma'alem Hassan Ben Jaafer
Tavern Stage:
10pm: La Banda Chuska - merges the sounds of vintage Peruvian cumbia and psychedelic chicha with 1960s Latin American and Middle Eastern surf rock
